Remote electricity reading
E-Spectro reads electricity meters through the optical IR interface without installation intervention. It sends 15-minute data via LoRaWAN into the Sensorly cloud.
How E-Spectro reads electricity meter data
The meter communicates through its optical interface. E-Spectro reads the meter registers with the attached IR head, sends them to our system, and makes them available in the portal.
What we install on site
- An IR probe with magnetic attachment to the meter optical head
- Communication unit for LoRaWAN only
- We perform IR probe reading only (Class C) in line with Czech law
What you gain in operation
- Regular readings without physical visits
- Data quality checks and immediate outage alerts
- Consumption history and analytics for optimization
- Exports for accounting and billing systems
E-Spectro for IR electricity meter readings
The set combines a communication unit with an antenna and a magnetic optical head. The head attaches to the meter IR port, the unit reads available OBIS values, and sends them to the Sensorly cloud.
No meter intervention
Installation does not require power interruption or seal removal. The sensor only reads the data made available by the meter optically.
IR readings and OBIS values
We support IEC 62056-21 and DLMS/COSEM. Depending on the meter, you typically get energy registers, tariffs, power, voltage, current, power factor, and frequency.
Data in Sensorly cloud
Readings in 15-minute intervals are sent via LoRaWAN into the cloud, ready for dashboards, alarms, exports, and API access.
Electricity meter
The meter exposes available registers through its optical IR port.
IR head
The magnetic E-Spectro head aligns with the port and reads data without mechanical intervention.
E-Spectro
The unit processes the readout, adds communication status, and prepares the data for transmission.
Sensorly cloud
LoRaWAN transfer stores values in the portal, where they can be monitored, exported, and connected through the API.
Who this is for
For residential buildings, companies, and energy managers who need accurate meter data.
HOAs and residential blocks
Easy allocation and overview without entering apartments.
Facility and property managers
